The plan with my doctor was working well (straight calorie counting) that I've found it hard to switch over to Points Plus... and since calculators are backordered until Lord knows when, figuring up point totals is hard.

It's just one day out of time. You can have an off day, off week, off month even, just be conscious of the choice you're making and get back on it. I know what it's like to have a horrifically challenging job and try to be/become healthy and fit when some nights it's all you can do to pass out on the couch. I know it's been a tough 1/2 year for you, and sometimes it just takes time to finally get sick and tired of being sick and tired. I also love your courage for just admitting all this stuff here - I need to do the same and perhaps I will do the same later today or in the morning.

I really like the WWP+ program and am glad you're doing it. I've stopped going for the weigh ins and have just been weighing in weekly on a good scale that a company sent be because of my blog. With the calculator and the booklet, you have everything you need to do it and to succeed! There are other great WW blogs that I'll send you the links to - I've gotten some fantastic recipes with the P+ all figured out.

It's just so good to read your post and feel the energy in it. You can do it - I can do it. And I'll be in Atlanta May 7-14, so plan on a meet up - at least one. I'll try to send an email in the next day. Hugs, and I'm thrilled for you that you're feeling ready - that's a big step.Lesliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12401609334253676307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654199466450477041.post-67682254830653963002011-04-03T10:35:12.950-04:002011-04-03T10:35:12.950-04:00I think for me, planning is the key. After having sworn I would never join WW again (too discouraging), I checked out the website right after Thanksgiving and saw they were massively re-vamping the points plan. Although I'd had tremendous success on WW plans prior to points, the regular points plan never worked for me because I always felt like I was starving.

But I love the new Points Plus Plan! It will be fun for me to check in and see what your thoughts are about it. Good luck!Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10950451908465207387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654199466450477041.post-72663854747779445702011-04-03T09:49:26.063-04:002011-04-03T09:49:26.063-04:00That was a really long post, calorie counting can ...That was a really long post, calorie counting can sometimes be a pain but if WW is going to work for you - I think it's good to try :>FatAngryBloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11111350848902455866noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654199466450477041.post-33771778439957772862011-04-03T05:10:00.003-04:002011-04-03T05:10:00.003-04:00Hi, sorry you're going through all this. I live with someone who goes through an interminable amount of junk food (essentially there is an infinite supply of chocolate, chips and sweets should I choose to have any). It's really hard, I know what you're going through.

All I can say is "good luck". Plus the work situation, work stress can induce overeating. I figured out what works for me - eating the same thing every day. (I plan to announce it to the world on my blog in a week). Obviously it's not for everyone.

As Christine above says,
Hang in there.Manniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04119332802138490071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654199466450477041.post-48288790572812815212011-04-03T02:14:20.105-04:002011-04-03T02:14:20.105-04:00I am big on doing what you can do for the rest of ...I am big on doing what you can do for the rest of your life...but not pretending it won't be different than what got you fat. lol. This last month I gained around 2 lbs...I spent a week not counting calories and not exercising because of illness and it took me a while to get back in the swing of things..plus I overate.
But the thing was...I was aware of what I was doing and was not surprised when I stepped on a scale and recieved my 'prize'. But it's back to what I was doing before.
IF weight watchers is what you can do, than I say go you! Even being mindful of what you are ingesting....at your weight...(and I know as I have been there) is a huge leap forward. I am glad you didn't close down your blog.
As for what your BF eats. I find men tend to follow in this regard. Do this long enough..he will straighten out.
Hang in there.
Hugs.Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13708815560712267698noreply@blogger.com
