I was in the mood to cook today, so I'm posting some pics for you. The first one is one of my favorite breakfasts. It's 4 egg whites, 2 oz. of baked chicken breast, fresh mushrooms, onions, bell peppers & 1/8 c. of reduced fat shredded cheese. Total calorie count for this filling breakfast is only 210!
Next I baked some cod in the oven that I bought frozen at Publix. I sprinkled it with some Adobo, garlic powder and blackening seasoning. Lastly is a shrimp stir fry with orange-yellow-red bell peppers, fresh mushrooms, onions and broccoli. I seasoned it with some Adobo, garlic, ginger & just a splash of low sodium soy sauce. Enjoy!

Those look awesome! Way to use spices/seasonings instead of sauces. I'm a big proponent of spices. I love sauces, don't get me wrong, but it is difficult to make a proper sauce healthy without getting into processed foods.
ReplyDeleteYummy looking food. I love the breakfast. I copied it down and am going to try it tomorrow. Thanks for the great idea!! I'm not a real breakfast person, so I'm always looking for something new and delicious.
