I lost 3 lbs. this week....I now weigh 226.0 lbs. Finally....a decent loss! I'm going to try 1700 cals a day this week and see what that produces...I ate 1600 cals 4 days last week and 1800 cals 3 days, so I think 1700 is about the average. I'll also be in the gym 5-6 days again this week. Now I can say I'm comfortably in the 220's and no longer teetering at the edge of 230.
More good news!! With this loss, I reached 2 mini-goals this week!! 45 lbs lost marked my next 15 lb. mini-goal, which means it's time for a little reward! And making it to the 46 lbs. lost marker means that I'm officially HALF WAY TO GOAL!! When I started, I had 92 lbs. to lose....I've lost 46, so only 46 more to go!! It's all downhill from here friends!! :)

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, this is such exciting news. Half way to goal...am sure you can taste it now...keep going, so many people stop the closer they get to goal - look back with regret as they've gained and have to start all over again feeling very demotivated.

Awesome! What's your reward gonna be? I think that's a great idea to reward yourself. I hadn't thought of doing that. Being halfway there is such an accomplishment!
ReplyDeleteWay to go on the great lose this week. I do 3 days of higher calories (2300-2500) and then 4 lower (1600-1800) for about a 2000 a day average and it seems to work well for me most weeks. I put in about 5-7 hours of exercise those weeks too. That's terrific you hit your half way mark, it is all downhill from here *smile*.

ReplyDeleteHi Tammy. Congrats on your loss. You're doing great - much better than you give yourself credit for. Maybe aiming for 1600 was good because if you go over a little sometimes you can still come in at 1700 average a day for the week. But obviously psychologically it feels better to set a limit and be able to stick to it - makes you feel more in control. So I hope the 1700 works out.
