I'm re-committing to the Second Phase of Allan's challenge that begins on Monday. I still don't have my head in the right place...I won't lie...but, I have to commit to SOMETHING, because God knows I don't want to be 340 lbs. again.
Flip the switch. Commit to something. Even if it's just something small for now. Drink more water. No desserts. No second helpings. SOMETHING. I haven't had my head straight and I THINK i have it now but it's hard to tell. We BOTH don't want to be 340 lbs again and WE WON'T! Just take it one day at a time. Hopefully it won't seem so daunting then! STAY POSITIVE!!
Wow! You've done really well so far. Look how much weight you've lost! Honey if you can do that you can lose the rest. Don't beat yourself up about the past just focus on the future that's waiting for you to grab it.
I lost 60lbs a year ago and though it felt like forever to do it was SOOOO Worth it!! I am a different person.
I am at the same spot as you. The scale has inched up, but my head is not into dieting right now. Like you, I sure as hell don't want to put that 50 pounds back on. Why why are there those of us, who must watch every morsel we put in our mouths? I hope to visit more regular, now. Hugs, Kathleen
I'm a 36 year old, 272 lb. food addict on the road to recovery. I do not believe in diets. I believe permanent changes in my eating habits will get me to a healthy weight. The road from fat to fabulous is a slow, winding and sometimes bumpy one...but I'm finally moving in the right direction. Come travel with me on the road to good health.

ReplyDeleteKeep on keepin' on. I'm checking out his challenge now. You'll catch your wave before long.
ReplyDeleteCommit to committing! ;-)
ReplyDeleteCracks me up that there is a See's Candy (my fave food!) ad at the bottom of your page selling Thanksgiving gifts for under 20 bucks.
ReplyDeleteGood to have you back...The more the merrier,
ReplyDeleteMaybe making yourself get in the groove will help you to actually get your mojo back. Sometimes we just have to kick ourselves in the tail. :D
ReplyDeleteIf it help even just a little ... that may turn out to more than doing nothing. Hope it creates a "light bulb" moment.
