This morning the scale says 251.8....I'm up by .8 of a lb...no biggie....better than the 5.5 lbs I was up on Monday!! Can't wait to see what the scale says NEXT week....enjoying my egg white sandwich and decaf coffee. I'll be back later tonight! :)
Sometimes minimizing damage is the best we can hope for. I've definitely had those weeks when I was looking at big gains squarely in the eyeball, and somehow managed to fight to a draw by weigh-in.
Not this week though. So far I've had five *perfect* days. Shooting for the fabled *perfect* week, but will have to navigate some slippery slopes for that to happen. Still, I'm expecting major weigh-in fireworks.
Thanks loads for the wonderful comment today over at JSGF. It really does feel good to have some good people riding shotgun on this long, long trip...
Forever onward, neither rain nor sleet nor snow......well, you get the picture.^-^ Despite the fact that I am mixing my metaphors. I agree with Jack, minimizing damage is sometimes a good thing. And keeping a good attitude about it, and aim for even better next time.
I'm a 36 year old, 272 lb. food addict on the road to recovery. I do not believe in diets. I believe permanent changes in my eating habits will get me to a healthy weight. The road from fat to fabulous is a slow, winding and sometimes bumpy one...but I'm finally moving in the right direction. Come travel with me on the road to good health.

ReplyDeleteThat .8 will be gone by next week for sure!
ReplyDeleteGood attitude! Sounds like you're well on your way to becoming 'Skinny Tammy'!
ReplyDeleteLike Jack said, good job on minimizing damage. I'm sure you'll see a loss next week with you being back on track.
ReplyDeleteFabTammy,(because you are already) thank you very much for your comment on my blog today.
ReplyDeleteYou're right not to sweat the .8 lb ... doing so is fruitless.
Next week ... :D
Hi Tammy, congratulations on your loss and especially your wonderfully positive attitude.
ReplyDeleteYUM! Egg white sandwich. Good luck this week. You can do it!
