Beach Challenge Week Two Weigh-In


I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't seen the 220's in 3 1/2 months, and then I only dropped in them for one week, and was right back up to the 230's.  I finally made it back there today and I hope I NEVER see the 230's again!!!

I weighed in this morning at 228.6 for a loss of 4.4 lbs.!!!!!

This is also a significant weigh-in, because I NEVER lose this much on a cycle week...EVER!!! 

I'm starting in on my 2nd week of my cycle (long story....my body is just effed up and always has been)....so we'll see what kind of results I get at the next weigh-in.  I'll go ahead and tell you that my cramps are in FULL FORCE today and this is the worst I've felt physically all week long....the fun just never ends....thank you Mother Nature (grrrrrr).

But I did it....I overcame....and I hope that I can hang in there this coming week and not let this junk weigh me down.  I hope I can overcome again this week.  I'm definitely going to give it my best shot!!!

Don't forget to leave me your weigh-in today!  I hope everyone is doing fantastic.  We are at the HALFWAY point for this challenge.  We've got 2 measley weeks left, so let's kick into high gear!!  It's all downhill from here baby!!

  1. Wow Tammy!!! That's an amazing loss, even in the face of such adversity. I am inspired by you, as always!:-)
    I weighed in at 204.6, which means I lost 1.6 pounds this week, and puts me in at a 5.2 loss total at the halfway mark. Next week I plan to kick but again!!

  2. Good morning!! I weighed in at 217.8 this morning. That's exactly a 5 pound loss so far! Im half way there!! Bring on my tacky souvenir!! :)

  4. Congrats chica on getting back in the 220s! That's awesome. My weight for the challenge this morning was 247.6. Slow and steady. >.<

  13. First off, Congrats Tammy, and everyone else thats reported in so far. Keep it up!

    I am on vacation this week, and I haven't been as diligent with all of this and had hoped for a monster week. But a loss is a loss and I will take any downward going trend.

    Start: 219.6
    last week: 216.9
    this week: 216.2

    down 0.7 this week as of this am, and 3.4 lbs total.

    I weighed in at 200.2, for a loss of .8#. So I think I need to average 2.3# per week for these last two weeks, to reach the goal. I can do it!

  17. I am up 0.8 lbs from last week...weighed in at 163.4 - which is the same as my starting weight for this challenge. No further comment, nobody needs my negativity!

    Congrats on your loss, that is absolutely amazing!

  21. Sorry to hear about your cramps!

    I weighed in at 194 today, so I'm down 1.5 lbs. My total lost is 2.5lbs. 7.5lbs in two weeks? Should be interesting. Tune in next week to see me debating which limb I can do without. I mean, who really needs a left hand? :) Kidding.

  22. Sorry, Tammy, I almost forgot! Not sure what is going on in my head today; I feel all kinds of distracted! :)

    I weighed in with a gain for 149.8. I really am having trouble this week! I think I’m on track with my food and exercise, and I don’t really know what I am doing wrong, but the scale just doesn’t want to cooperate. (Boo! Hiss!) I just really hope my weight is down for my own official weigh-in tomorrow. :(

  29. Wow, Tammy! You are setting a record, girl. I'm so happy for you! I did terrible the week I went to Dallas and I was there Friday so I couldn't weigh myself. I'm sure I wouldn't have liked what I saw anyway. This week I'm showing a 2 lb loss from my start weight. I don't know if I'll make the 10 lb goal, but I'll keep plugging along. You've got me inspired!

  30. Well I didn't have a computer until tonight which is why I haven't weighed in yet. But nothing really to report I lost 0. So I'm still the same. Better luck next week. Great job though on your weight loss!
